Who is responsible
The data controller is Tutatechno, a sole trader registered in Hungary. Correspondence, including any request under data-protection law: tutatechno@gmail.com. Full registered details are held by Google Play and are supplied on request to any user or supervisory authority entitled to them.
Scope
This policy covers the EasyLoop Android application. It forms part of the Terms of Use.
What the app stores, and where
The following is created and held in the app's private storage on your device, which no other application can read:
- Recordings. The original audio captured from the microphone.
- Projects. Tempo, loop lengths, effects, volumes, positions and colours — the arrangement, stored as parameters alongside the audio.
- Sound library. Individual sounds and whole circles you chose to keep.
- Settings. Theme, timing preferences, metronome, and the audio latency measured for your device.
Files you export (WAV, MP3 or M4A) are written to the app's own folder in your device's shared storage so you can pass them to other applications. Once you share an export, the recipient application handles it under its own rules. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored.
Permissions
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
RECORD_AUDIO | The microphone, opened only while a recording is running. |
POST_NOTIFICATIONS | The notification shown while a session is active. |
FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE | So playback and recording continue when the screen is off. |
The app declares no INTERNET permission, so Android blocks any network connection it
could attempt. You can verify the declared permission list on the Google Play listing under
App permissions → See more, or in any APK inspector.
The microphone
The microphone is opened only while a recording is running and captures only the take you asked for. It is not used in the background and not used to listen while you are not recording. Removing the app from the recents list closes it and releases the microphone.
Third-party components
The app is built with Google Oboe and AndroidX/Jetpack Compose (Apache 2.0) and LAME (LGPL 2.1). All run on your device. Drum and metronome sounds are generated by code as they play; no sample libraries are bundled.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection over personal data a controller holds about you. Everything the app stores is held on your device and under your direct control; you can delete it inside the app, through Android's Settings → Apps → Storage → Clear storage, or by uninstalling.
If you contact us by e-mail, we process your e-mail address and the content of your message in order to answer you, on the basis of legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), and retain it for at most 12 months after replying.
You may lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. In Hungary this is the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11.).
Children
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
The date at the top of this page identifies the current version. If the app changes in a way that affects data handling, this page is updated and material changes are noted in the app's release notes.
